She was born in Robstown, Texas on March 31,1953. Elizabeth graduated from WB Ray HS and received a nursing degree from Del Mar College. She married the love of her life, Gilbert Cervantes, on February 18,1970. Expected to open in the Spring of 2022, the 30,000 square-foot “hospital within a hospital” will occupy two floors and provide specialized care to adults 18 and up, as well as seniors age 55 and older.
