I think the glass is folded on the superman colored marble and the silver glass like marble, but did not see any folds on the speckeled marble. M.F. Christensen slags are found in a wide array of shades of each of the colors mentioned. The brown and purple are the most common, perhaps they were the easiest or cheapest to make. The blue and green are next most common, and are fairly easy to find.The name was changed to the Peltier Glass Company in 1919. The company is located in Ottawa, Illinois, and no longer produces marbles. Peltier began making marbles around 1927. Their marbles were marketed under their name and also by M. Gropper & Sons. Since we were discussing Peltier Prima Agates in Scott's "Dazed and confused..." thread, I thought I would post some look-a-likes for identification and open discussion. Here are a couple photos of a group of five marbles. There is at least one confirmed Peltier Prima Agate in the group. Which one and why? Any guesses as to what the others are?.
