I've seen several tear aparts of this new filter VS the Motorcraft FL500s. the Motorcraft filter looks very cheaply made torn apart (cellulose paper media) the Fram has a synthetic filter mediaDec 10, 2021. #1. I've ordered a few FL-500S filters from Amazon (shipped and sold by Amazon) and the most recent one looks quite odd. In the pictures below, the new filter is the one on the right..
