2024 Kia stuck in park

I got a bunch of problems after changing battery, windows control stop working, shift stuck in park, car key fob stop working. I was so panic. Fortunately, I found this discussion. I disconnected the battery for 15 minutes. Everything work like new. Thanks a lot.. 607 n 7th st

Make sure you are on level ground and block the tires so car cannot roll. Disconnect the shifter linkage (one 12mm nut) and shift the lever by hand and see if it is binding.
