on the chevy 350 if the valves are to tight after adjusting it will not run because the valves are not closing. hopefully you did not tighten the rockers all the way down .if you did you may have bent valves or pushrods. the proper procedure before start up is to adjust rockers with each cyl on compresion stroke..
