I lost my Mucus plug about 5 hours ago and yesterday the Dr told me I was 80% effaced and 3cm dilated. DH and I are getting ready just in case the contractions get stronger.With my second I was only 1 cm at my 37 wk appt and had her at 38+3 and a 3 hr labor. With #3 was dialated to .5 cm at my 37 week appt, went to hospital at 37+6 with contractions every 2-3 min, they sent me home and my water broke at 38+2 and was still only 2 cm when I first got admitted but baby was delivered like 8 hrs later.Just left my 38 week appt and had a cervical check, apparently I'm 2cm dilated at 90%!? I'm freaking out so excited to officially be progressing and on baby watch! I've read that this doesn't necessarily mean baby is on his way just yet, but it's exciting to know my body is doing it's thing. Last week's appointment I was diagnosed with mild pre-eclampsia and told to stop exercising and lifting weights. That helped a lot with my blood pressure....
